A cover letter is like a hook to a great essay, it reels in the reader. A cover letter is used to convince the company to invite you to an interview and eventually hire you. It’s an introduction for your resume. The purpose of a cover letter is to show how unique you are in your ability and the value you will add to orgtheanization. On the other hand a resume gives further information. It describes your education, abilities and any experience you have had that would be in benefit of the job you want now.
